Cultural Experience | Germany

Hallo Munich!

We are in Munich today! This is such an awesome city. I liked Prague, but German Bavarian culture seems to fit my ideals much more. Beer halls, drinking songs, and very friendly and happy people – definitely where it’s at. On the first day here in Munich, I met two guys from Hamburg (Northern Germany) and they insisted the culture of Southern Germany, known as Bavaria, is very different than most other parts of the country.

Munich is known world wide for the biggest beer festival in the world. You guessed it – Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, the festival occurs in September, but there are plenty of places to grab a drink and meet some locals. Augustiner Beer Garden is definitely one of them.
