The perfect getaway all year round, travel tips for Jupiter, Florida.

Jupiter, Florida is the perfect get away for any time of the year, offering exquisite water adventures, great restaurants, shopping, beautiful scenery, boat rides and beaches. The weather is sunny all year round and is very family oriented, but offers the perfect night life for those who are looking for a good time!

What to See:

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum was built just before the Civil War and is still in terrific shape since being taken over by the local Historical Society. The museum is small but interesting, offering a spectacular view of Jupiter Intercostal at the top of the lighthouse.

Dubois Park Dubois Park is right on the Jupiter Inlet, with a great beach, a concrete fishing pier, and a nicely maintained lagoon swimming area for kids and families. If you and your family enjoy snorkeling, then this is the place to go. Dubois Park allows visitors to snorkel through the beautiful mangroves of Jupiter and you are able to swim without exhausting waves or fear of any predatory fish. The park also provides several grilling stations along with picnic tables so you can hang out and grill for a large part of the day.

Roger Dean Stadium is a great local attraction to visit if you are a baseball fan, and there is nothing more enjoyable than going to the back fields to watch the young talent before they become too famous to sign autographs! The great minor league park is very clean with excellent food and a very friendly staff.

Farmers Market is every Sunday on Burns Road, offering a wide variety of fresh produce and exotic fresh foods to taste where you are able to come with family and friends and enjoy the beautiful day and live music. The produce offered is affordable and you are also able to try organic foods and fresh squeezed juices.

Harbourside is a new plaza that opened this year in Jupiter offering great restaurants, live music on Friday nights, and upscale shopping. There are different restaurants offering different types of food such as dinner places and breakfast places. Dinner places include Bravo if you enjoy Mediterranean food or Too Bizarre if you are a sushi fan. If you are staying in Harbourside at The Wyndham, make sure to stop at Another Broken Egg as well for a full breakfast and excellent service.

What to Eat:

Jupiter has many great local places to check out ranging from organic healthy juice bars for the health conscious, burger joints, or sushi for seafood lovers.

Three Natives is one of the healthy places to try, along with Rock Steady. Both of these places offer the same type of things such as cold pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and a small array of lunch portions.

Christopher’s Kitchen is a more upscale, healthy restaurant offering a larger variety of cold pressed juices and a full menu of vegan breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Christopher’s Kitchen allows you to sit in and dine, or you can go next door to their juice bar and take out location. Christopher’s Kitchen is 100% raw and vegan in everything they serve.

Utiki, Square Grouper, Guanabanas, and Jettys are great for scenery and great food. These places are all located along the lovely Jupiter intercostal where you can dine or come in for happy hour and enjoy the sunset, boat passers, and live music. These places are a great to go to if you are new to Jupiter. Guanabanas, Utiki, and Square Grouper are completely outside targeting a more casual environment with outside bars. Guanabanas offers a tropical feel with beautiful palm trees and landscaping and is directly across from Blue Line Paddle Company where you are free to paddle board behind the restaurant.

Too Bizarre is located in Harbourside, perfect for the traveler who loves seafood and sushi. It has a shabby–chic setting for American and Asian plates along with an extensive wine list and a huge fish tank at the entrance of the restaurant.

Night Life:

Down Town Gardens

Families can enjoy live music and karaoke along with Cobb Movie Theaters located on the second floor. Sloan’s ice cream parlor or Fro Yo is great for the kids after a long night. Don’t forget to stop at Whole Foods Market located in the same area near a bunch of shops such as Z Galerie, Swoozies, and many other shops along the walkway of Down Town at the Gardens.

Singles and Couples without children can enjoy night life at a high end sports bar, Yard House, offering a huge menu of New American fare and an extensive list of draft beers. Right across from Yard House is a bustling cantina restaurant offering a buzzy vibe and a traditional Mexican menu with classic tequila–based cocktails and both a lunch and dinner menu.

Day Activities:

Pon Tiki Boats and Cruises right outside of Guanabanas will take visitors to the Sandbar or anywhere along Jupiter inter coastal where passengers are able to relax and enjoy listening to music, playing games and having fun in the sun. The captains are professional and friendly, making everything so easy and fun for everyone to enjoy.

Getting Active

Jupiter Outdoor Center allows you to rent a kayak or a stand up paddle board, without any experience, and paddle through the inter coastal waterways with a good chance of seeing manatees during season. A full moon tour is offered as well with fire and marshmallow roast. You feel like you are miles from civilization.

Blue line Surf and Paddle Company is affordable and convenient. You are able to rent paddle boards or kayaks and go for as many hours as you wish right behind Guanabanas Restaurant.

Jupiter is a town full of life offering many activities and sights to see. Be sure to use this guide and you will have the lived the full Jupiter experience! Since you will be in the sun a lot, don’t forget to wear high SPF sunscreen. You will not notice how burnt you are until the end of your vacation so bring lots of aloe, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen! Enjoy your stay!
